The Torres Family
Sonny & Brittany Torres were married in 2007 and began their journey together devoted to building the Kingdom of God. Over the last decade they have served passionately as full time youth pastors, managed church media, pioneered a young adult ministry and most recently served as 1st Impressions Pastors. God spoke to their hearts while on a pilgrimage in Israel in 2017 about planting The Church. They invested themselves into 3 years of prayer, fasting, training and mentorship from the Association of Related Churches to prepare for this God-sized dream He had given them. They are excited for this next chapter as they give their life to Align, Connect and Advance the Kingdom of God.

As a Phoenix, AZ native, he is passionate about reaching the four corners of the Valley of the Sun for Jesus. In his free time, he enjoys, working out with his wife, taking his family to the movies, and cheering on his beloved Phoenix, Suns. With over two decades of full-time ministry experience, he is honored to be a Lead Servant serving and equipping God’s church to be the called-out assembly. (1 Peter 2:9)
Along with co-pastoring beside her husband, Brittany is passionate about women coming alongside each other in true sisterhood and not doing life alone. She loves to champion other women and has launched several women’s initiatives. She currently writes a monthly blog sharing the word of God from a woman’s perspective. In her free time, she enjoys, working out with her husband, playing games with her kids, and reading. Her first heart’s desire is to belong to Jesus and leave a foundational legacy that future generations can build upon.
MICHAEL
Michael (5) is a true princess at heart. All things glitter, pink, unicorns and tutu’s are her favorite. She has a big personality but is shy with most new faces. She enjoys dancing, worshiping, and having pretend dinner with her friends in Church Kids class.

Samson (13) is a young man who is passionate about growing in the things of God. He loves sharing the love of Jesus with everyone he meets. Although he enjoys school, his favorite things to do are to play video games with his friends and eat ALL the snacks. He’s our little “life of the party”!
